Ellgia Expands Its Trade Waste Collection Services!

What Happened?

After 22 years of growth, Bakers Waste Services decided it was time to focus on their Skip and RoRo services, alongside their existing treatment infrastructure. As a result, we’ve taken over their Trade Waste & FEL collection here at Ellgia. This includes everything from general waste to recycling, glass, and food collections.

Don’t worry – nothing is changing for you! We’re here to make sure the integration is smooth and easy. You’ll still get the same great service, just now with the added benefits that come with joining the Ellgia family.

Our New Areas – Leicester and Northampton

This change isn’t just about new ownership; it’s about expanding and improving the services available to you. With this acquisition, Ellgia is now extending our services into areas of Leicester and Northampton. We’re setting up two new depots in these locations to better serve our customers.

We’re expanding our reach across Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Coventry, Northamptonshire, and Bedfordshire. This means quicker, more efficient services for everyone in these regions. With new team members, more collection vehicles, and additional containers, we’re ready to continue to take waste management to the next level!

As part of this expansion, we’re bringing in some serious resources to make sure you get the best service possible. With the addition of 14 new employees, 10 trade vehicles, we’re equipped to handle all your waste collection needs.

We’re also taking on 3 FEL vehicles, collecting all of your general waste and mixed recyclables. This means quicker pickups, improved efficiency, and less hassle for you. We’re focused on making waste management simple, so you can focus on what you do best.
