Ellgia and Deaf Trust partners to enhance green credentials

Ellgia working with Deaf Trust to help them manage their waste and recycling. Doncaster Deaf Trust has agreed a new partnership which will focus on its environmental impact and green credentials.

 

The deal with Ellgia Waste Management, will see the two organisations working together for the next year, to ensure that the Trust’s domestic waste and recycling is managed in a sustainable way.

Bobbie Roberts, chair of trustees at Doncaster Deaf Trust said:

We are extremely pleased to be entering into this partnership with Ellgia. They provide more than just value for money and innovative environmentally efficient solutions, they are extremely passionate about what they do and it is clear that they want to help organisations to deliver improvements.We are looking forward to working with an organisation who will provide great value and sustainable waste management across the Trust.

Doncaster Deaf Trust manages Little Learners Day Nursery, Doncaster School for the Deaf, Communication Specialist College Doncaster and a care home all on the Leger Way site. The organisation is celebrating its 190th anniversary in 2019.

Jack Lavington Operations Director from Ellgia said:

We are very proud to have been awarded the contract to provide Doncaster Deaf Trust with their domestic waste management and recycling services for the next year. Our partnership will see us manage all waste and recycling from the Trust’s Leger Way site and will help them to have a more cost efficient service while positively improving their environmental impact.

We are proud to be growing our presence in Doncaster and working with a number of the large organisations in the town.
